With the repair work taking several hours to get done, we were off for a late start on our travels. We spent that night at a Loves truck stop in Vinton Texas. Filled up with fuel and hit the road for our next stop.

We are now at Fontainebleau State Park near Mandeville, Louisiana. We will be here for about 2 weeks. The park is on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain. The lake has a 26 mile bridge that goes from the north side to the south side and roughly splits the lake down the middle. This is a nice park, because I am a veteran and we are both retired we get 50% off the standard rate.
While we were there we took the RV in to Aces Muffler shop to get some exhaust system work done. It is a small business run by a couple George and Tracy who are great people. After the work was done we asked them where we could go get a good cajion meal. They sent us to a place called "Climes" and the food was fantastic. After that we went and got supplies from Walmart, as we would soon be leaving for our next stop over in Mississippi.
02-17-2021 through 02-22-2021
We are now at Shepard State Park near Gautier, Mississippi. This park is on the north side if the Gulf of Mexico.
02-23-2021 through 03-01-2021
We plan to be at the Army Corp. of Engineer's Foscue Creek park near Demopolis, Alabama. The park is on the edge of the Tombigbee river, which is the river we would have taken if we would have taken the Sandra Faye down to the Gulf of Mexico to go on our great loop adventure.
I will finish March trip log later. Right now I am setting up to do electrical and prep-math on-line teaching via website "AOES.US"
